About Me
I'm Michael Williams, a mastering/mix engineer and producer based in Fallbrook, California.
With a lifetime of experience as a musician—playing keyboard from a young age, guitar, bass and vocals in bands like Smaller Monsters, Worthington, and Secret Scene—I understand what indie artists need from their recordings. I know the difference between a mix that sounds good in your home studio and one that translates across streaming platforms, vinyl, and live shows.
My approach is straightforward: I focus on clarity, punch, and making sure your music sounds like your music—just better. Whether you're releasing a single, EP, or full-length album, I work with you to get the sound you're hearing in your head.
I work out of my home studio in Southern California, which means competitive rates without sacrificing quality. I've produced and mastered tracks for Smaller Monsters, Worthington, Maike, Chris Mor, and Clinically Insane, and I'm currently accepting new clients.
